If youâre the kind of couple that likes to get squeaky clean together, bringing some goodies for the bath and shower can make things more intimate and fun.
Shower steamers and bath bombs are a great way to create a spa-like experience with your boyfriend after a long day of hiking or exploring through the city.
7. Comfy Shoes
You might be tempted to bring your cutest pair of shoes for the trip, and you can, but save those for date night.
Make sure you bring a comfy pair of shoes for travel and heavy walking days.
A quick way to put a dampener on your first vacation is by getting major blisters on your feet that make it tough to enjoy the rest of your vacation. Bringing a little first aid kit can help but getting ahead of any incidents by packing your best walking shoes will save you from some sore feet and a little embarrassment too.
8. Portable speaker
Itâs likely you might stop to relax while youâre adventuring on your trip, so why not enjoy some music while you catch your breath and enjoy the scenery?
This is such a great way to share new music with each other, and you can even make things romantic by having a moonlit dance at a park or on the beach.
Another idea is to put on some upbeat music while youâre getting ready in the morning to get you both excited and ready for the day.
9. Picnic Supplies
Having a picnic while youâre on vacation is such a fun change of pace from restaurants and room service.
All you have to do is pack some picnic provisions like a bottle opener, cute plates, cutlery, and a picnic blanket.
For one of your lunches or dinners, pop into a cute local deli or grocery and grab some fun new foods to try along with a bottle of wine. Find a nice spot in a park or by the water and have yourselves a romantic little picnic.

This one wonât take up any room in your suitcase but will make your trip with your boyfriend so much better, especially if itâs your first vacation together!
It might rain on your trip, something you wanted to see might be closed or you might not get to do everything you set out to do, and thatâs ok.
The best thing you can do is to keep an open mind and go with the flow.
How you both handle the ups and downs of a trip is an excellent reflection of how youâll work together as a couple, so learning to let things go and to adapt will make your vacation so much more enjoyable for the both of you, no matter what happens!
No matter what you pack (or forget to pack) remember to live in the moment. This is hopefully going to be the first of many trips together. Enjoy every moment and be present. Youâre going somewhere exciting with someone you care about.
